Her foot tapped, her fingers twitched, and her blue eyes glared at the small speaker that refused to stop playing crappy elevator music. She turned around quickly, maybe she could get lost in the scenery outside; after all, it was a glass elevator- so she would be able to see through it. She lazily scanned the ground below, trying to block out the maddening tune.

His lean frame was being supported completely by his forehead as he leaned against the wall, thumb embedded on the down arrow. "Bloody..glass..birdcage.."

Her method of ignoring the music worked- for a while. Then it suddenly came seeping back into her ears and she had to find another way of distraction. This way of course was an almost identical glass elevator to her right that was going the exact same speed as her's was. The only difference? Where as a blond haired teen girl stood in this one, a red headed man in a rugged tux stood in the other. He looked just about as tortured as she felt and to this she couldn't help but laugh.
"Who the hell puts two glass elevators beside each other."
She wondered aloud. The girl then growled, took out her whip and let the microphone pound one good time at the speaker. The music stopped, but in it's place came an equally annoying buzzer and a red light. Her feet stepped back as she slid to the ground and buried her face in her knees- when would this ever end?

He yawned, looking up at the speaker, then dug into a rather spotty pocket. It took a matter of seconds, a screwdriver and the removal of a wire to end that damn prissy music.

Lyndsey raised her head and glared over at the man in the other elevator.

He yawned, arching his back in manner similar to a cat scratching before turning..to point and get a laugh at her plight. He blinked pausing his mirth to check the pager on his belt, and after rolling his eyes and producing a bit colorful language he stabbed a button with his finger and made his way into her elevator.

The elvator stopped, and yet the red light and buzzing continued. Her head raised as the person from the other elvator stepped into hers. With a quick shrug she would lower her head again.

He looked the wall panel up and down..almost in an act of intimidation before putting his fist into it,halting the buzzer.

Her head shot up,
"It stopped.."
She crawled over to the wall and placed both her hands on the cold metal surface.
"It stopped! Ha Ha!"
She cackled insanely before jumping up and grabbing the red head in her arms. She chanted 'It stopped' and twirled him about the elevator in joyous relief. Her celebration soon ended as a loud ding was heard and the elevator door opened to the top floor, Rufus's office. In a moment her composure returned as she calmly set the man down and strode up to the empty desk, the president no where to be seen.
